The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Mountaineers (1-1) in Port Elizabeth on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by Windbreakers (1-1) 68-67. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Windbreakers forced 24 Mountaineers turnovers. Ridwaan Jobson (180-91) fired 26 points for the winners. Botswana guard Thuto Gaborone (181-92) chipped in 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Aristote Kalala produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Zebras maintains first position with 2-0 record, which they share with 3 other teams.
